Introduction. Problem of chemical plant protection products safety evaluation is necessary to be solved in the conditions of the continuous increase of the chemical influences role in the general and occupational environments taking into consideration possible potential impact on human health.

The purpose of the work was to assess hazards of insectoacaricides and fungicides application on soya from the standpoints of hygiene.

Materials and methods. The methods of full-scale in-field hygienic experiment, gas-liquid chromatography, calculation and statistical methods were used in this study.

Results. The content of active substances in the working zone air and in the air of the adjacent territories did not exceed the established hygienic standards during the Elmira, KS, Masai, WP, Supercil Forte, Cu, Fastak, Cu, Azomex Plus, Cs, Custodia, Ks, Uni- Flow 250, COP preparations application on soya. No active substances were found in the swabs from the workers’ skin.

The magnitudes of the occupational risk of pesticide hazardous exposure to the combined and complex effects of studied substances did not exceed the allowable value (less than 1).

Conclusion. The results of field studies showed that, if the agronomic and hygienic regulations will be followed in compliance with suggested ones, the insecticides and fungicides application on soya does not pose a danger to workers and the environment.

Key words: insectoacaricides, fungicides, working conditions, occupational risk.
