The paper highlights problems related to economic and social losses, because of occupational diseases, based on the analysis of foreign publications. It is established that in recent years a great attention is paid in countries of West Europe and in the USA to economic losses of such diseases as occupational dermatitis, occupational asthma, depression. In Ukraine, till present time, there are not enough publications related to calculation of medico-social and economical losses of occupational diseases.
