This article is about the problem of hypertension in different contingents of workers engaged in harmful and dangerous conditions of the work environment. The occupational factors of modern production, which may contribute to the development and progression of hypertension, have been determined. The attention is paid to prevention of hypertension and to the criteria of occupation adaptation.
