The morphology and peculiarities of functioning of cells of the immune system with cytotoxic properties (T-lymphocytes- killers, natural killers), their role in the defense of the body from neoplasties processes have been considered. The interaction of neoplastic cells and the immune system of the human body in occurrence and development of cancer pathology, effect of work-related carcinogenic factors on the killer’s activity in the immune system have been analyzed.

Key words: cancer pathology, immune system, killer's cells, work-related carcinogenic factors
