A hypothesis on the biorhythmological mechanism of development of different functional human states in the body has been considered, covering, in particular, development of chronic fatigue in conditions of work activity. New ideas on formation of «strain» and «fatigue» as twofold functional state, developing in the process of the work, have been proposed.
The data have been obtained, basing on original studies, pointing to a multi-level mechanism of rhythmic regulation of human physiological functions in the body.
Integral indices have been elaborated for differentiation of states of calm wakefulness, emotional strain and chronic fatigue. A phenomenological model of development of strain and fatigue states has been proposed.
