The materials are presented concerning selected aspects of sanitary and hygienic supervision at industrial enterprises of the city Kyiv, in machine-building in particular. The data on the structure of the supervised subjects of the machine-building industry and on the number of individuals, working in harmful and dangerous conditions are laid down. The number of occu¬pational diseases recorded in machine-building industry of the city Kyiv has been defined.
