ANALYSIS OF FACTORS INFLUENCING OCCUPATIONAL DUST MORBIDITY IN COALMINERS IN UKRAINE

The state of occupational dust morbidity of coalminers in Ukrainian for the period of 1997—2006 has been analyzed in dynamics. It is found that the basic level of the revealed pathology is determined by the degree of harmful conditions of work, mainly due to dust factor, and its changes in time and territorial differences show the significance of medical, social and eco­nomic risks. The results of the analysis and quantitative assessment of the effect of medico-hygienic and socio-economic fac­tors on the process of development of occupational dust-related diseases are presented. Methods of improvement of the sys­tem of medical provision of miners and prevention of occupational dust-related diseases have been grounded.
