CONTRACTILE CAPACITY OF LEFT VENTRICLE IN MINERS WITH CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASES AND ASSOCIATED ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

The data on studies of the left ventricle (LV) in miners with occupational COPD and associated arterial hypertension (AH) have been analyzed. Linear, volume and LV systolic function indices have been studied by ultrasound investigation. It was established that a substantial decrease of contractile capacity of LV in miners with occupationally caused chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases and associated arterial hypertension occurred due to the indexes of blow volume, output fraction, volu¬metric output rate and the rate of myocardial libers circulatory contraction. Thus, general and specific resistance of vessels was considerably increased. The timely diagnostics and the following monitoring of these alterations allow to improve the sys¬tem of secondary prophylaxis of this disease and associated arterial hypertension.
