The article summarizes the scientific activity of the Laboratory of Industrial Toxicology and Occupational Health in the use of chemicals over 35 years; main present-day and perspective scientific directions are laid down as well as the results of exper¬imental studies; their significance for theory and practice is underlined. The development of the concept on the effect of fac¬tors of low intensity, substantiation of principles, indices and criteria in the assessment of norms, pre-pathology and pathol¬ogy of the chemical genesis are among them.
