The history of creation and the main stages of the development of the laboratory of physiology of labor, which was organized together with the creation of the Institute in 1928, are highlighted. The main scientific directions are presented, the main achievements of the laboratory and staff over the entire life cycle of the institute, starting with the beginning of the organization, are presented. and ending with the present tense.
