The results of mycological studies on the raw material processing, used in biofuel production, are laid down. The samples of seeds of rape, maize as well as tbe rape oil were investigated. A pure culture has been extracted and there have been identified microfungi, among which there are those capable to generate toxins, causing diseases in humans, plants and animals.

Key words: biofule production, microfungi, ponetial risk
