MOLECULAR-GENETIC MECHANISMS OF CELL MAUGNANT TRANSFORMATION AND DIRECTIONS TO APPLICATION OF GENETIC SCREENING OF THE WORKING POPULATION FOR PREVENTION OF OCCUPATIONAL CANCER DEVELOPMENT: SYSTEMIC REVIEW

Institute for Occupational Health of AMS of Ukraine, Kiev

Full article (PDF), UKR

The analysis has been made concerning scientific studies on molecular and genetic mechanisms of development and vital activity of neoplastic cells, progressive development of human cancer pathology in exposures to cancer work factors and the environment. The information on relation of gene changes (carcinogenic, oncosuppressivc, mutational) and the development of human cancer pathology has been systematized. Directions to application of molecular-genetic screening methods have been defined for primary prevention of occupational cancer..

Key words: cancer, genes, chromosomes, genome instability, mechanisms of malignant transformation, theories of carcinogenesis, occupational factors, primary prevention, molecular-genetic screening
