OPERATOR'S SHIFTWORK: HISTORY AND MODERN PROBLEMS

The problem of the shift work is a complicated bio-socio-etiological problem of the modern time, actualizated by scientific and technological progress. Shift work is one ol stress factors in development of occupational stress, syndrome of chronic fatigue and health disorders. The problem of reliability of a man-operator, working in the shift schedule is also discussed. Problems of physiological and hygienic rating of shift work are considered as well as those related to elaboration of rational sliding shift work schedules, intra-shift work and rest regimens, measures of social rehabilitation of shift workers.
