PHYSIOLOGICAL AND HYGIENIC PRINCIPLES OF RATING OF WORK ENVIRONMENT ILLUMINATION AND WAYS OF ITS IMPROVEMENT

The author discusses approaches and criteria of work environment illumination rating in Ukraine. The particular attention is given to approaches and criteria of standards acting in Ukraine nowadays. Alongside with the positive estimation of acting standards thier main disadvantage, in the author’s opinion, is the lack of fatigue assessment in workers. The author proposes to include some physiological and hygienical principles in rating of standard development that will promote providing high level of ocular work ability and preventing ocular disorders when using high technologies. The other trend in elaboration of hygienic rating is developing the system of illumination of different stages for various types of work actiivity that will be able to provide optimal conditions for vision and psychophysiological comfort for workers.
