PRODUCTION AND USE OF ACID METAL-CONTAINING DYES AS A TOXICOLOGO-HYGIENIC PROBLEM

The analysis of hygienic conditions and schedule of work of workers engaged in production of acid Metal-containing dyes — riazolans, synthesized in the Company Ltd «Rubezhanskiy Krasitel», has been made. It is found that the technology of ria- zolan production is connected with periodic loading of raw materials and semi-products into apparatus, unloading the fin-ished products and transportation, that causes entering harmful substances into the working zone and the environment. The heaviness and tension of work as well as an inhalation effect of harmful chemicals and dye dust are specific for operators when they do manual operations and, in this, the content of dye dust 5 times exceeds TLV. Main actions have been determined for improving work conditions of the given category of workers.
