SOCIAL AND HYGIENIC ANALYSIS OF OCCUPATIONAL MORBIDITY FORMING MECHANISMS IN COAL MINERS, PROPHYT ACTIC MEASURES

The state of occupational morbid y in Ukrainian coal miners in the survey of 1991—2003 has been analysed. It is established that the level of occupational moi dity in this group makes 70 -80 % of the general occupational morbidity in Ukraine. The occupational morbidity rates are d' t nguished by two waves: in 1994 and 2001. The risk level was the highest in the group of long wall miners. The analysis of occupational morbidity forming mechanisms taking into account hygienic, social and legi-slative aspects is presented. Prophylr. tic measures are proposed.
